The construction industry has grown from 105,000 employees in 2011 to 170,000 employees in 2016. We need another 30,000 employees by 2023! AGC, CCA, HCC and construction firms have started the Construction Careers Now (CCN) workforce recruitment program with Emily Griffith Technical College (EGTC). We are investing $1.1 million in outreach and recruitment and are producing graduates each month in the construction orientation course at EGTC.
