The Santa Fe Arts District in downtown Denver is known for its lively galleries, trendy restaurants, and bustling bars, embodying a vibrant and eclectic spirit. The Aura on Santa Fe, a 123-unit condominium project, perfectly captures this dynamic energy. Upon completion, this precast concrete building will feature a community courtyard with a BBQ area and firepit, 11,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space suitable for a commercial kitchen, an underground parking garage, and bike storage. RMG Engineers conducted over-excavation and replacement testing for the construction of post-tension slabs, along with extensive concrete testing and inspections. Our work included inspecting reinforcing steel for size, spacing, and placement, as well as overseeing all aspects of post-tension slab construction, including tendon placement, stressing, and elongation.
